Event Description
A FUN first experience of rock climbing. Experience Bouldering, Abseiling and Climbing! At one of the finest crags in Yorkshire.
About this event
Try roped climbing, belaying, abseiling and bouldering as well as some confidence building games on boulders and small rocks to develop movement on gritstone and build confidence. We aim to cover a variety of different styles of climbing, from easy angled slab climbs, steeper routes and interesting features on rock.
Whilst not climbing learning the technique for belaying and lowering off as well as your role in the climbing partnership. Before finishing with an abseil down the full length of the crag, whilst overlooking the scenic Wharfe Valley.
Equipment provided. But please message the facebook page or text Harry on 07769 318569 with your childs body/waist size and shoe size in advance.
Parent or guardians are required to accompany children during the event. This is no bad thing and you will have plenty of opportunity to support, take photos and take in the view.
Weather dependent activity, we may postpone at 48 hours notice should the forecast be unsuitable, offering either a postponement or refund as you wish.
