Event Description
A 2 hour coached mountain bike event for 9-13 year old mountain bikers. Covering progressive skills to confidently ride challenging trails.
About this event
A 2 hour coaching session taking in the bridleways and trails of the brilliant Meanwood Valley Trail and Adel Wood.
Developing young peoples independence, bike skills and fitness. Limited participants, Aged 9-13 with high levels of experience.
Aims are to not only improve your riding but also show off some of the best trails anywhere in Yorkshire. The session will work on the following:
Steep terrain Jumping Loose surfaces Rocky terrain Dynamic balance Railing corners Braking for pros Bunny hops Drops Crafty climbing
PARTICIPANTS
Participants to dress for the conditions, you will almost certainly get muddy!
Have a working good quality mountain bike and be able to ride it for up to 2 hours offroad.
Helmets are compulsory.
carry some snacks or cereal bars as well as a full waterbottle.
a spare inner tube if possible.
